2016 Annual Symposium

We are very pleased to invite you to this year’s much-anticipated Symposium, to be held on Sunday 28 August – and set to be the best yet!

This excellent event is a must for anyone with an interest in dementia, or for those working with, or supporting people living with dementia. Everyone is welcome, so please feel free to invite your family, friends or colleagues.

We have a fantastic line-up of speakers this year, who will be addressing a range of fascinating dementia-related topics. This will include Dr Gary Cheung discussing his global research on meaningful engagement of people with advanced

dementia, as well as Blair Keenan, discussing the philosophy of ‘Esprit De Vie,’ a new-aged paradigm in architecture, design and ageing research that aims to create a new generation of environments that result in fulfilling senior lifestyles. The event will be held at Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, which has ample off-street parking. Entry is by koha/donation, and we ask that you please bring along extra cash for some amazing raffles on the day.
